Licensed for more than 60 years, Mr. Tanenbaum is a personal injury attorney whose practice is located in the heart of New York City. Established shortly after completing his schooling in 1964, he has built a reputation for excellence in his particular practice area. Prior to his career in law, he spent four years as an international trader with the Associated Metals and Minerals Corporation, also in New York City.
During his career, Mr. Tanenbaum served as a corporate counsel for the International Gate Corporation and the General Gate Corporation. He has also been very active with the New York State Bar Association, the New York Trial Lawyers Association and the Bronx County Bar Association.
Graduating with a Bachelor of Arts from Hobart and William Smith Colleges in 1954 at just 19 years old, Mr. Tanenbaum went on to pursue a Bachelor of Laws and Doctor of Jurisprudence at Union University, graduating in 1957 and 1961, respectively. Admitted to practice by the New York Bar upon the completion of his JD, he was later admitted to the Southern District of the U.S. District Court of New York in 1961 and the Supreme Court of the United States in 1967.
Named to Knighthood by His Royal Highness The Prince of Cittanova and His Royal Highness The Prince of Trabzon in 2001, Mr. Tanenbaum is a longtime member of St. James in London and Le Club in New York. Married to his wife Linda Goldman since 1961 with two children, he has been showcased in every edition of Who’s Who in America since 1997, as well as multiple editions of Who’s Who in American Law, Who’s Who in the East, Who’s Who in the World and Who’s Who in Finance and Industry.
